Lock A Folder Properly

This post is about giving the max security to a folder so no one will find your picture collection of water bottles. The title says 'Properly' because some guys just hide/lock it and wait for others to find it. And yeah, they probably do. Follow these steps and no one won't even know you have locked folders.

Here's how it's done:

1.Download Anvi Folder Locker here.

Anvi Folder Locker is a free security tool that has been developed to help you manage and protect your important files. With Anvi Folder Locker, you can lock your personal files to protect your privacy, set passwords to files so other users will have no access to them. Anvi Folder Locker Free also allows you to add permissions to your files to stop them from being modified or removed.

Install it and you'll see how to lock a folder right away.

2. Hide it from program files.

[Local Disk C -> Program files (x86) -> Right click "Anvisoft" -> Check 'Hidden' checkbox -> OK]

Hide

You'll see something like an error message but click 'Continue' and you're good.
(You should be the administrator to do this.)

3. Delete the Start Menu shortcut.

Navigate to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs and delete the folder named 'Anvisoft'.

Delete start menu shortcut

I'm assuming you already deleted the desktop shortcut. You did, right?

Note
If you want quick access to the Folder locker, copy FolderLocker.exe from C:\Program Files (x86)\Anvisoft\Anvi Folder Locker and paste a shortcut (and hide it, of course) somewhere you can access quickly.

4. Download CCleaner here

Install it and go to Tools -> Startup -> Context Menu and disable AFPMenu

CCleaner

Context menu

That's pretty much it.
Leave a comment if you have ANY problem.
