Some additional features:
- Bluetooth peripherals show their battery percentage within Settings
- Game Bar has been redesigned with new features including an overview of system performance and more.
- A new Windows HD color page is now available under Display Settings that let you configure HDR settings.
- You can now make text size bigger separately from the overall display scaling options in Settings.
- Windows now supports leap seconds.
- Windows Update will now use machine learning to determine when to install and not install updates. But you might still want to stop Windows 10 updates competely.
Those were a few noticeable things in the new version. And of course there are a lot more changes and improvements because it's a major update. I didn't include them here because I'm thinking of keeping news articles on this blog short and to the point. But you can see the complete list of changes here.
Oh, and Microsoft brings their amazing skill of naming things back. The next update won’t be codenamed Redstone 6 during its development. It will be called "Windows 19H1", which means it’s the first update of 2019. Future updates will be named "19H2", "20H1", "20H2", and so on.
